Jury selection starts on Wednesday in the criminal trial of exiled Chinese businessman Guo Wengui. US prosecutors have alleged that he defrauded thousands of investors and supporters of over $1 billion. The trial is being held before US District Judge Analisa Torres in Manhattan, and it may continue until July.
