North Korea’s Kim Jong Un inspects flooded areas near China border, KCNA says

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visited flooded areas near the China border after heavy rain affected around 5,000 people. The military successfully rescued 4,200 people using 10 planes. Kim praised the military’s efforts but criticized officials for inadequate crisis preparation. The region was impacted by Tropical Storm Gaemi, causing landslides and flash floods.
