Amnesty International has called on the Taliban to reopen secondary schools for girls in Afghanistan. According to Afghanistan-based Khaama Press, the organization highlighted that the Taliban’s “discriminatory and unjust policies” have stripped Afghan girls of their right to education. Amnesty International emphasized that the Taliban’s actions are in violation of international laws.
