Dr Anthony Fauci said his equation with Donald Trump was complicated. Initially they got along very well — Fauci from Queens, Trump from New York — but then Trump started to say incorrect things. Fauci said he had to contradict Trump publicly though he was not comfortable doing so. In Fauci’s autobiography “On Call: A Doctor’s Journey in Public Service”, the chapter on Donald Trump is titled ‘He loves me, he loves me not’.
