France’s political forces are making a final push for votes in crucial legislative elections that may result in the far right taking government control for the first time. The official campaigning period ends at midnight on Friday, followed by a day off from political activity on Saturday, in preparation for voting on Sunday. A second round of campaigning will continue until the decisive vote on July 7.
