73-year-old Geoffrey Kitchen died after severe turbulence on a flight from Heathrow to Singapore. A retired insurance professional and amateur dramatics performer from Bristol, he lived in Thornbury, Gloucestershire. Kitchen was a well-loved man, deeply involved in theater and community activities, advocating for the reopening of Armstrong Hall. He was friends with the Dimonds and active in local theater productions.
