After years of controversy, Palm Springs decided to relocate the 26-foot ‘Forever Marilyn’ statue, depicting Marilyn Monroe’s iconic skirt scene. Locals’ concerns, especially about children viewing her undergarments, led to this decision. According to a statement from Palm Springs Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein, the statue will be relocated to a “location to be determined in the Downtown Park.”
