The US DHS proposes new fees of $4,000 for H-1B visa extensions and $4,500 for L-1 visa extensions which may force the employers — heavily dependent of these category workers — to reassess their hiring process or extensions as the new rule, if implemented, will increase the financial burden on the companies.
