Hundreds of China merchants join protest against Temu

This week, hundreds of merchants protested at the offices of PDD Holdings Inc in southern China, accusing the owner of the Temu platform of imposing unfair penalties. The suppliers, primarily small businesses selling Chinese goods to Western consumers via Temu, gathered outside the company’s Guangzhou office on Monday. They held placards and chanted slogans, with some entering the offices, though they dispersed without meeting senior executives.
