India’s High Commissioner in Sri Lanka, Santosh Jha, held talks with the Marxist JVP party in Colombo to discuss bilateral initiatives and developments in India. The JVP, a Marxist-Leninist communist party, led an anti-India campaign during the Indo-Lanka Accord. The High Commissioner interacted with JVP leaders to brief them on various bilateral initiatives between India and Sri Lanka as well as developments in India.
