More than 2,000 people buried alive in deadly landslide in Papua New Guinea

The national disaster center of Papua New Guinea reported that a catastrophic landslide struck a remote village in the northern part of the country on Friday. The landslide resulted in extensive damage and more than 2,000 individuals were tragically buried alive beneath the debris, the secluded location of the village made it particularly vulnerable to the devastating effects of the landslide.
