Russia’s largest Black Sea Port under drone attack, beaches closed for safety

The mayor of Novorossiysk announced restricted beach access due to a sea drone attack repelled by Russian defence forces. Two sea drones were destroyed near the crucial Black Sea port, a key oil export hub. The Russian defence ministry also reported downing 10 Ukrainian drones. Kyiv claims these attacks are retaliation for Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine since 2022.
