According to Bangkok’s Samitivej Hospital, 58 passengers from the Singapore Airlines flight that encountered severe turbulence on Tuesday are still receiving medical treatment at various facilities. Of these, 20 are in intensive care, while 27 have been discharged. The turbulence on the Singapore Airlines flight was so severe that it flung passengers and crew around the cabin, with some being slammed into the ceiling.
