South Korea and the United States planned to hold discussions in Seoul on Monday regarding the coordination of a joint nuclear response in the event of a conflict with North Korea. This comes amid concerns over Pyongyang’s expanding nuclear arsenal, according to Seoul officials. This meeting marks the third session of the Nuclear Consultative Group (NCG). It is a follow-up to last year’s summit.
