Former US president Donald Trump Wednesday said vice president Kamala Harris has been ‘turning Black’ and he did not know a few years ago that Kamala Harris was Black. Speaking at a Black journalists’ convention in Chicago, Trump wondered whether Kamala Harris is an Indian or Black — which invited massive backlash including from the White House which termed Trump’s comments as ‘repulsive, insulting’.
