Eight people, including children, were injured in a shooting at Brooklands Plaza Splash Pad park, a municipal water park near Detroit, Michigan. Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard reported that the suspect emerged from a vehicle in front of the park at around 5 pm and fired approximately 30 rounds, reloading the weapon several times. Authorities have described the incident as a “random” act of gun violence.
